Is the 90-day rule valid for an A2 visa?

Hi, I'm planing on getting married, then travel to my country in Europe for a couple of weeks and fill all the forms for permanent residency as soon as I return to the US.

I have a A2 visa and have been here for more than a year, would it be possible?
