My wife has been waiting for her green card interview to by scheduled at the Moscow US embassy by NVC since June 2020. Today the embassy announced that it would only be holding life-and-death immigration interviews and closing all non-diplomatic visa operations (https://ru.usembassy.gov/message-to-u-s-citizens-u-s-mission-russia-reduction-of-consular-services/). Does anyone have thoughts about what will happen with immigration interviews (ie, will they be moved to other US embassy locations)? Or thoughts about what my wife and I should do?
