J1 Visa Without a Bank Statement

Hi everyone

I'm a physician in training who will be applying for a J1 visa soon. I will be sponsored by a hospital for 4 years with a salary of > $60K. I'm planning to show that I have ties to my home country like a family and properties owned by my father. In addition, I have a family member who needs special care. I'm also going to mention my future plans to practice in my home country. But I have one thing I can't figure out, BANK STATEMENT. Unfortunately, my bank account is currently almost empty. My father's bank account is also not enough. And since I will be paid for this training, do I still really need a bank statement? Should I get one from someone else like a friend or relative, which I think can be counterproductive, because it may put a spotlight on how much broke I'm now, lol. I have a friend who will help me with moving expenses, but I don't think the consular officer will be convinced by that? I don't know what to do! What do you think guys?
