I recently graduated from law school and I just started my first job at a law firm six months ago. I was selected by the H1B lottery but my husband was not selected. Both of us are F1 students so the only way to keep my husband’s visa is working as a H4. Therefore, I will need to request the green card sponsorship so that my husband can work.
However, I am afraid that I am too junior to ask for the green card sponsorship considering I only started working with the firm six months ago. How should I approach my supervisor to discuss the possibility of green card application? Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!
