I have been in the US since age 8 and entered without inspection. When I was was 18 I was pulled over and arrested then turned over to ICE. My parents got an immigration attorney for me and were able to bond me out and wait for deportation proceedings from my home. However, my first court appearance was delayed. When the second court appearance was scheduled to occur DACA was in place and a new lawyer said they would administratively close my case. Since then I have married a US citizen. Is it likely that I can adjust my status if she petitions for me?
