Hello, my husband is from Bulgaria and we recently applied to renew his green card. We decided to forgo hiring an attorney because the application seemed pretty straightforward and so is our situation. He has been in the states 12 years and we have been together for 7 so we weren't really worried about getting denied. But I am a little nervous because we sent the application about 4 weeks ago and they still haven't deposited the funds or sent any communication back. Has anyone gone through this experience recently and without an attorney? Starting to second guess trying to do it ourselves.
