SSA number

I received an American SSN number when I revived my AP/EAD combo card last year, that all expires in July 2021. As of March 2021, I am a full fledged 10yr green card holder. I am now trying to file my taxes for the first time however TurboTax keeps telling me my “return was reject by the IRS” because there’s a problem with my SSN. I am wondering then was the social they gave me temporary? Should I be receiving a new one in the mail?
