Hey guys. I'm an international student who majored in math and took a bunch of CS classes while in college. I am currently working as a software developer. While majoring in math, I did take optimization and modeling classes that helped me learn algorithms, time complexities and proofs to check if algorithms actually do what they are supposed to.
To apply for the STEM extension I have to fill out form i-983 which includes describing how my role relates to my major. Does anyone have experience relating a math major to a software dev position? I'm not exactly sure how to phrase / put it and I'm scared my application will get rejected. Any tips ?
