K1 vs Adjustment of Status?

I am currently in a situation where my fiancee wants to move over to US soon. Before the COVID-19 pandemic my two options were K1 Visa and Adjustment of status. Just for your information she lives in Hong Kong with both HK and Canadian citizenship. I was wondering if the best way to go about this would be to apply for the K1 visa and wait or have her come to the US and wait 90 days before we get married and then apply for adjustment of status? She is Canadian so she can stay in the US without a visa for 180 days. I just read some places online that even if we wait 90 days for us to get married the US might still think it is Marriage Fraud? We have plenty of evidence to back it up that its not true we've been together for 5+ years. Anyone have any opinions on the best way to go about this? I also know Trump just signed the immigration ban and was wondering if that would affect K1 visa applications?

NVC Case FE Review note

To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our
