I have a straightforward case and absolutely no circumstances that should complicate my I-485. My lawyer will be handling my I-140 and has quoted thousands of dollars to prepare the I-485 for me, but there is so much information online that I'm wondering if it's something I could handle on my own. Has anyone else been in this situation?
