I was an Au Pair (03/2017 - 12/2018).
Im in a current process of a CR1 Visa, with intend to immigrate to the US and now i am really worried because i just read that i still have to stay in Germany (home-country) for 2 years even after i successfully finished my program in the US as an AUPAIR, even tho i am not even subject to the two year residence requirement?
In my passport it says, i quote :
'BEARER IS NOT SUBJECT TO 212(e)'
the same on my first issued DS2019
but on my second issued ds2019 nothing is checked.
is there anywhere to check if i can continue or does someone know?
I dont like to tell this my husband, he'll be shattered and so am I.
