I have a friend who works for this manufacturing company and he hurt himself while working. He got a big injury in his ankle, can’t walk properly. He’s been working for them for over 10 years.
Employer sent him for to a clinic to check his foot and they just gave him pills, but the injury is still there. No paid time off. Seems like the employer dismissed him completely. He’s been off for 2 months with no pay.
He is an illegal immigrant, no green card, or work permit.
Does he have a case? Should he just report this to OSHA or hire an attorney?
