STEM OPT re-entry to the US

Hello,

As anyone recently re-entered the country on OPT/STEM OPT? The school DSO has provided me a I-20 with a digital signature. How was the re-entry immigration process like? Did they stop you for further scrutiny - you can work remotely from your home country in COVID times? I heard of such a case recently so wanted to know.
