My husband (H1B) and I (H4) are awaiting I-485 decision. Our EAD/AP expires in Feb. We filed for extension but have not gotten a reciept yet.
My husband changed jobs in August and his H1B is approved, my H4 that was filed by this new employer is still pending approval.
My H4 that was filed by my husband's previous employer has expired.
What do I do if we don't get the 485 extension reciept notice before Feb? Will I still be allowed to continue working at my job? My husband has a valid H1B, but will I be able to stay in the US with the new H4 pending approval and 485 extension pending reciept?
Quite concerned about this so I appreciate anybody who can provide some advice. Thank you!
