I was selected in the H1B lottery this year, and my status changed from F-1 to H1B on October 1st. I booked a non-emergency first time H1B visa appointment in Bombay, India for January 7 (fingerprinting) and January 20 (Interview). I've read online reports of appointments in February and March being canceled, so I'm not sure if my appointment will be honored. Has anyone here recently gotten their H1B stamped after an interview?
