Overwhelmed. NZ to US immigration strategy

I wish to immigrate from New Zealand to the US with my American Fiance whilst we preferably remain living together in NZ for the entirety of the proccess.

What visa should I be persuing?

Current plan is to get married here then go for a CR1.

Are there any obvious flaws with this strategy in my situation?

(I also understand immigration advisory has some pretty stringent laws surrounding it, so if this is against sub rules/will endanger any helpful souls legally, please dont hesitate to remove the post)
