Visa for International Students in STEM

How hard is it rn for intl students in CS to get into CS jobs or master programs?

I go to hs and college in the US and i really want to stay here afterwards. Since recent years the government tightened visa restrictions for intl students in STEM fields, im really worried if i could still stay in the US after graduating from college.

I could either go into the industry or proceed to get a masters/phd.

Now I’m just wondering which one would be easier for me to get a visa?

My parents even encourage me to switch to a non STEM major so that I could get my visa and stay here more easily, but I’m not that interested unless i HAVE to.

Any advice?
