Question about using CPT for full-time job before graduation

Hi Everyone, I have a question about CPT and OPT. I am graduating this summer and my I20 expires at the end of August. I am currently in the process of applying for OPT and finding a job. If I get a job now but my OPT has not been approved yet, can I use my full-time CPT to start my job right now this summer before I get my OPT (I have a few months of full-time CPT left before my I20 expires at the end of August) ? Thanks for your help in advance!!
