Overstayed in the US from 2001 to 2009. How will this affect my master's student visa and job visa applications?
I am a 21 year old Bangladeshi who is currently in my junior year of engineering in Malaysia as an international student. I left the US at the age of 9 after overstaying there for roughly 100 months with my parents.
I currently have a CGPA of 3.91 out of 4, so I am confident I can ace the GRE and score a good scholarship. I am also thinking of taking a gap year or two and maybe doing an internship in Bangladesh while pursuing an MBA while I'm at it to show I had my own funds, but I do not think this will likely be happening. I also do have my mother supporting me financially.
For my masters, I was thinking of applying to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe (Germany and the Netherlands in particular), Hong Kong, Japan, China and Singapore. If not, I will most likely pursue my masters in Bangladesh or Malaysia. Will my previous US overstay as a minor bar me from getting a student visa in any of the aforementioned countries?
Will my previous US visa overstay affect me pursuing a job abroad?
