Green card holder stranded overseas

I’ve been in Japan for the past year in half as I’ve been scared to death of covid. Since the situation is getting better I’d like to return home. I realize I’ve been out of the country for over a year and could lose my green card. If that happens, so be it. The US is currently only allowing citizens and permanent residents in. Travel to Japan is highly discouraged right now by the US government so I’m worried they won’t even allow me to get vaccinated and tie up loose ends. My question is would I at least be allowed into the US? Or would I be detained and deported upon arrival or possibly just be served papers to appear in court?
