Hi everyone, During the trump administration, my student visa from my home country was denied 3 times. At this point i already had a visiting visa that i got two years ago. During my first visit to the US in 2019, i was granted a visit visa for two years and was 16 at the time. At the embassy, when asked my length of stay for my visit, I said three weeks but ended up being here for 3 months. My family didn’t think it was an issue because the visa was for two years. However this was used against me at the embassy to deny my student visa. I already had everything paid for; had an i-20, everything. But i got denied for a mistake that at 16 I wasn’t aware of. My parents decided to fly me to the US on the remainder of my visiting visa in the hopes that Trump will lose and I can go to Canada and try the embassy there. However that service isn’t available there right now. I cannot risk going back to my country as there most likely may not give me the visa because i am now completely illegal in the US. My question now is how can I become legal without having to go back home? Is it possible to apply to college again without the visa? Can i claim DACA? I was 17 when i got here 5 months ago. Please help with some information. Thank you all so much
