B-2 visa for Canadians

Hi question around how the b-2 tourist visitor visa works for Canadians. I have been in the US for about 3 months now and I know it’s a 180 day limit within 365 days. I’m planning to leave at around the 4 month mark, so how does it work for when I want to come back? Is it like I have to go back home for 4 months before coming back if I want to stay for 6 months?
