Hi all I just got married last month in Canada and was told it was gonna take 6-8 weeks to be able to order our marriage certificate (we only got the short form that came with our Ontario marriage license) so I'm unable to file for our I-30 until I get that.
My partner is in a country that isn't part of the waiver program (Bulgaria) and doesn't really work besides drawing art online so getting a B1 tourist visa is hard for them to prove they aren't planning on staying here permanently if they were to visit. Is there any other options for my partner to come visit me for a few months while we wait to start the I-30 process? Or is there anything we can do to help prove he will go back to his country after the visit?
