I was approved for a green card in late august of this year and was told that my ssn card would arrive within 4-6 weeks of my arrival to the US. It’s been around two months now and I have yet to receive it. I need to have it in the next few weeks or I will be terminated from my on campus job. Ive tried calling the local ss office but they couldn’t help and the toll free number just did not pick up. Any advice?
