Trying to get O2 visa for USA

Here is my story. I do management for couple of big tattoo artist in Turkey. One of them is my really close friend and we are working together almost 10 years now. Now we have a job offer from USA and my friend will be apply for O-1 visa and i will be applying for O2 visa. However the lawyer from US(our consultant) is insisting about how hard to get O2 and it might be not possible for me to get O2 visa.

Is there anyone have any idea?
