Is increasing DV lottery photo brightness against the rules?

The issue is that looking at their example photos i'm seeing correct photos that are exactly the same as mine background wise but this website :

tells me this Background must be light and uniform

the wall behind me is white but it looks a bit brownish light brown and some of the photos in their example photos have similar background , they demand an off white background and mine is exactly that but if i increase the brightness from a website just a bit the website of the test says my photo is good to go because it lights the wall a bit more i think but the quality is just a bit different it doesn't look that i obviously changed the brightness too much but i'm worried if it's against the rules and would the metadata be detected by them?

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified.
