Is Anyone Mailing their Original Documents (Passport, Marriage Certificate, Green Card) to Social Security Office due to name change?

I'm just freaking wondering about how to do this 😭. I called my local office and they said they have dropbox now at the office to drop my original documents (good,i don't have to mail it to them). Then i'm thinking to put prepaid envelope in it so i can track my mail when they send back my documents, but they don't really sell it anymore at post office. Should i surrender my documents and trust SSA to mail my documents back? 😭. Or tell me if any of you guys ever mail/drop your original documents at ssa. Im nerveous. Thank you!
