I made a post on r/centrist asking if it was possible for different sides to reach a compromise, and u/articlesarestupid suggested I ask here. What policies or other aspects of immigration do both sides of the aisle agree on? Where do they differ? Is a compromise possible? Does the MSM capture all this accurately, or do they stick with something sensationalist like “one side wants to build a wall, the other side wants to abolish ICE”?
