Help with Green Card Criteria- B.Sc. graduate with 3 years of degree in Computer Science and 10+ years experience and H1B Visa

I am wondering if any one from India who has completed B.Sc degree in computer science has applied for GC in US while on H1B Visa. Are there any challenges for such a candidate? If there are , what are the options to become eligible ? Any alternatives to get GC done? Thanks for your help!
