I recently returned to the U.S. on an IR1 visa, but I lived here since I was 2. I had DACA before my current visa, and any credit card applications I filled out always asked about citizenship status. I was always truthful and would apply as being a U.S. tax resident but not a citizen.
But I’m applying for a chase credit card and it’s not asking for any sort of status, just a SSN. Is it safe for me to continue on, or should I call in and specify I’m not a citizen? I know this is an odd question, I just don’t wanna risk anything when I apply for citizenship in 3 years!
