My cousin (26) wants to come visit and is looking into applying for a tourist visa. Her dad is a US Citizen but she hasn’t had any contact with him for over 20 years. Her mom tried applying for one when she was a minor, and she was turned down because of her dad and was told, her circumstances were different and her dad needed to apply for her. They tried contacting him and he refused to help. She wants to try again but isn’t sure if she’ll get turned down for the same reason. What are the chances she’ll qualify? She’s a college graduate and has a stable well paid job.
