A case of bad husband

m a gay guy who moved from Karachi, Pakistan in March to be with my husband in New Orleans. I am an artist, used to teach drawing at an art university back home. Wrapped up my studio and resigned from my job and settled here. But as soon as I got here I knew things weren’t right. My husband has been lying and cheating.

More recently he kicked me out of the house. I am currently staying with friends with half my belongings still at my husbands place. Last month we filed for adjustment of status and I paid the fees. While the case has been created I don’t know if I’m going to stay with this man or how it affects my immigration. I cannot afford a lawyer as I do not have a work permit yet and the money I brought with me is running thin.

At this point I’d like to know the fastest way to start legally working in the US. Any advice would be great!

Thanks

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our
