My wife and I recently submit package to begin her AoS, get her work authorization and travel document. We sent it with a $535 money order for the I-130 and provided a G-1450, authorizing payment of $1,225 for I-485 application fee and biometric services fee.
Unfortunately, our package was sent back with a rejection notice explaining that we cannot mix payment types (of course this isn't explained on the G-1450 page, the form itself or the G-1450 instructions).
So, we want to send just a G-1450 this time, but I'm unsure if I should be sending 1 for each or 1 for both the I-130 and I-485. The USCIS site says to submit one for each application/petition/or request. I feel like this means I would provide one for each, but unsure if it counts as one request package since it's all being filed together and the form itself also says to put on top of "your application, petition, or request package" leading me to believe it would be one for the entire package.
Edit: From what I'm seeing so far from looking around at various sources, it seems it should be one for the I-130 and another for the I-485, which makes sense so would just like to see if that's the consensus here. Thanks!
