I was born in Bolivia and am now a permanent resident of Canada, in search of a new life and opportunities.
I have a degree in business and finance, looking to pursue a MS in data science/analytics in either Ireland or Scotland as a gateway to immigrate.
I had plans to visit both countries this year to help me make a decision, but with the pandemic going on my plans went to shit.
I know that both countries offer post graduation work visas and afterwards I’d have to get sponsorship from an employer in order to be able to stay. Now, this is where my conundrum yields. I’m not sure if it’d be easier to get sponsorship with my credentials in Ireland or Scotland? Or if my chances are about the same, where would it be easier to receive sponsorship and which country would be better in terms of quality of life and education?
I’m considering moving to Dublin or Glasgow/Edinburgh. Of course, this is conditional on whether I get accepted by university.
