Scenario:
A follow up post on my previous one.
Lost my passport 2 days before gc. Contacted a lawyer online (since it’s 11 pm here) who says better to appear at the interview without passport as I have other documents to verify my stay in the US (lease and bank info).
Problem is the only government issued ID I have is an expired permit.
Can I enter the building with an expired permit.
The interview letter says:
must bring government issued photo ID to verify identity..
Says nothing about the validation of the ID.
