Hi there. My husband and I recently got married and now applying for a green card. I think I made a mistake and falsely claimed to be a US citizen on i-9 form when applying for a job a year ago. I know there is no waiver for the false claim but is there any other way around? If I quit my job and wait until my employer gets rid of my I-9 form will it be okay to apply then? Please help, I really need some advice! I’m worried I can be forever banned from getting my green card. I need advice :(
