Hello,
I am sorry if similar post has been made here before but I could not find any instance of such.
I’ve lost my passport and it’s 2 days for my interview.
Applying for GC on basis of marriage to US citizen. Been married for 4 years. Husband in the military.
The interview letter says, I must bring in my passport for the interview. So far, I’ve filed a police case, and let the embassy of my home-country known for the lost passport.
Applying for new passport takes 3-6 months during pandemic.
I think it’s too late to reschedule the interview.
I am thinking of throwing myself on the mercy of interviewer.
Any other tips will be helpful in this circumstances.
