Hi,
I will be transition to new company on Oct 1 (because my non-exempt h1b kicks in, overtaking my current h1b for exempt employer). I have close to 2 months of leave which I don't think i will be able to available before i leave my current job. My current employer doesn't encash my vacation days.
Is it okay if my official end date is 1-2 months after Oct 1 for my first employer. I will give my company asset but continue to get my salary because i will be technically on vacation, though working for new employer.
TLDR: I'm on H1B with 2 months of vacation time available to me. Can I be on vacation on job1 while starting job2?
