Hello everyone,
I am a US citizen. Wife has H1b. We got married a few months ago and only recently had time to start looking at the process. Both employed. Both well above poverty line income.
I tried looking online to see what forms are required and found a whole bunch of info - I130, I485, DS260, I864, I765, etc. For some reason, the first one that popped up was I864. I printed and filled it out yesterday. Just as I completed it, I thought something was wrong - I shouldn't be considered a "joint sponsor" for my wife, right?
Could someone please help guide us regarding the forms needed?
Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!
