Question about deportation and speeding

first things first, I'm not sure whether this is the correct subreddit to ask for help like this One of my relatives was pulled over by the police last night and he isn't from America. So he doesn't have a license, and now he has to appear in court in October. They could've gave him a ticket for "speeding" but the officer had ruled for him to present himself in court. I was wondering, could this be a possibility for him to get deported?
