Could I be denied an O-1 visa on the grounds of being a proponent of “left wing politics”?

I’m in my mid 20s, originally from a European country. Applying for an O-1 visa in the arts (yes, a nearly impossible thing to pull off, but I am making it happen somehow). I’ve become a little bit paranoid about my social media presence in the past - being a filmmaker, I’ve had some more complex opinions on american politics (never violent, just more left wing overall).

I’ve tried ti take down from all social media and websites all potential instances of comments or declarations I’ve made that are more “politically incendiary”, but I’m still nervous. Could they deny me a visa simply because I am “left wing”?
