Seriously what’s going on with K1s??

I’m so confused about what the heck is going on with K1 fiancé visas. My fiancé and i’s case has been stuck at the NVC since April now and we’re so ready to just live together already. Are any embassies at all scheduling K1 interviews?? I’ve heard on Twitter that the State Department isn’t letting them do it. What’s true?
