Hi all - so I am from the USA but currently in Brazil with my fiancé and his family while we wait for his K1 visa to be approved. I’m here as a tourist and have been here a little over six months, but have been told by lawyers that I’m okay to stay because of the pandemic.
I’m not going to go into all the details because it’s long but my question is can I go home (to the USA) for a few months and then return to Brazil? I arrived in Brazil January 2020 so would I just need to wait until January 2021 to come back or how does it work?
