I erroneously received a stimulus payment of $1200 from the US government, which was directly deposited into my bank account. I returned this amount to the US Treasury(as per instructions given in the IRS FAQs) in the form of a personal check.
It has been over a month since I mailed the check to the IRS. However, the $1200 as not been deducted yet. Has anyone else here done the same, and have you received any updates?
