My wife and I submitted i485, i130, and i765 in mid January. She was still living in her college campus until COVID got worse here. Sometime March we moved to a new apartment and our lawyer updated our addresses.
My wife's EAD was finally approved a couple weeks back and we were supposed to receive her EAD this Friday. When we checked the tracking information we realized it got delivered to the USPS for her school despite us having updated our address. Worst thing is the status mentioned someone from her school picked up the mail. We went to the post office, her school mail box and school mail distribution center but the EAD is no where to be found. USPS claims school picked it up, school claims they never received it.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do? We have done some searching on the internet and we have only found discouraging information from USCIS eventually receiving a returned package and sending it up to 2 months later to USCIS claiming it is not their responsibility and wanting the applicants to resubmit.
