Question: What does the government accept as financially stable when your spouse is removing conditions for their green card? Does it have to be an income or does having enough in savings matter?
Backstory: we are currently in the process of getting the green card ( just waiting on the approval for the interview) and have been talking about what we wanna do when she gets her green card, and what has come up most is we would love to travel the country for months to even a year or two.
One of the questions that came up that we can't find an answer for is what they determine for financial stability. As I would need to quit my job to travel, so I would not have an income but we have a good amount in savings as backing with an asset (car). But we have not been able to find any information on a number needed in savings or if thats even acceptable to the governments standards.
