Got offered to relocate to the Bay. HR told me that they were thinking of filing an L1 blanket visa and backup option is an H1B. This was in April. With COVID ongoing, unemployment rising, internal issues of civil unrest, pending elections, when should I expect to start the process and complete the move? Are there any sites that provide updates about these things? Should my employer supply me some type of tracking code to check the status?
