Passport expiry before travel to the USA

I’m applying for the O1 visa. I got my interview date, it’s in 3 weeks. My passport expires on may 27 2022, I have just 8 months left on my passport. will this be an issue at the interview? My O1 visa petition is approved for 2 years so I’m just a little paranoid. And I plan to travel to the USA in 1 week of receiving my passport back from the embassy…

A few questions: I filed my N400 naturalization on March 23, 2020. Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee!
