EB3 Employment Based GC

Hi,

I am currently in the green card process, employment based, EB3. I have a L1 visa that is expiring middle of next year. PERM approval pending.

I’ve been trying to understand how the process is once I140 and I485 are submitted.

  1. Am I allowed to travel outside of the US before I485 is approved? Do I need advanced parole to do so?
  2. If the visa expires and I485 is pending, do I need to leave? Or how does it work?
