Hi,
I received my green card on May 2018 (Resident since date on my card). After spending a month in the US. I had to go back to my home country to finish my bachelor's degree since only the last semester remained and I didn't want to leave it after 3.5 years. I spent 8 months out of the US. Upon arrival, although I was asked about the long absence (as expected), I was able to answer all questions and even has proofs (degree, etc.) which didn't end up being required and I was allowed in.
I've been in the US since (March 2019) and only left for a small vacation of 3 weeks last month. I wanted to know if these collective absences affect my chances for May 2023 (5 years after issuance date of GC)?
